The Role
As a Complex Needs Practitioner (Recovery Worker), you will work with adults facing addiction, housing, or social care issues. The role involves engaging clients through person-centered interventions, promoting resilience, and supporting holistic wellbeing across community and multi-agency settings.
You will work within multidisciplinary teams, addressing diverse needs such as substance use, emotional and physical health, family, community engagement, and accommodation.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies) or relevant experience in substance misuse. Experience liaising with agencies and engaging clients effectively is essential. Flexibility, record-keeping, and report writing skills are required.
