Construction Solicitor
Construction Solicitor 5+ PQE, Cambridge, salary GBP 70,000 to GBP 90,000, DOE, plus extensive benefits.
Role Overview
As an experienced Construction Solicitor with at least five years’ experience, ideally with a background in non‑contentious work gained at a recognised regional, national or City firm, you will be joining a top‑ranked national team. You will be working on complex and high‑value transactions across the private and public sectors, advising clients including central government bodies, life sciences developers, major investors and education institutions.
Responsibilities
* Draft and negotiate JCT, NEC, bespoke forms and other construction contracts.
* Advise on collateral warranties, bonds and consultant appointments.
* Provide strategic guidance on high‑value construction transactions.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience (5+ PQE).
* Background in non‑contentious construction law.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, client‑focused approach.
