Job Description
Working within our Maintenance Team, you will ensure maintenance work is executed efficiently and on time to drive plant reliability supporting operational efficiency. As an E,C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining requirements used to drive, monitor, and control engineering systems across the plant.
* Providing technical support, including the installation and fault diagnosis of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines across all E,C&I and asset management activities.
* Training staff in the use of new systems and procedures.
* Developing and executing asset maintenance and replacement plans to optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, and reduce overall maintenance costs.
The Successful Applicant
* The successful candidate will preferably have undergone a recognized apprenticeship scheme, have a minimum of 3 years experience in an electrical, control, and instrumentation maintenance team within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment, and will have gained appropriate qualifications in their associated trade.
* They will be familiar with at the minimum, 400v electrical distribution and control systems, Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
* Familiarity with HV distribution systems would be an advantage but not essential.
