You will work closely with individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, supporting them through structured interventions, harm-reduction work, and personalised recovery planning. Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do Manage and support a caseload of clients with drug and/or alcohol dependency needs. Carry out comprehensive and ongoing risk assessments. Create, implement, and regularly review individualised recovery care plans. Deliver 1:1 keywork sessions and structured interventions. Provide harm-reduction advice and support focused on drugs and alcohol. Work collaboratively with partner agencies, criminal justice services, and wider community teams. Maintain accurate, clear, and timely case notes and records. Requirements / Candidate Criteria Essential DBS on the Update Service. Proven experience in substance misuse, particularly drugs and alcohol. Strong caseload management and keyworking experience. Solid understanding of harm-reduction principles and recovery models. Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills. Desirable Experience working in criminal justice or probation-linked substance misuse services. Knowledge of Brighton's local substance misuse pathways and partner agencies.
