Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Business Partner to provide senior procurement support to the ISS Projects Team across the UK. This role will work closely with project leadership to identify and implement opportunities that drive efficiency, value for money, enhanced quality and improved compliance across project activity. We are looking for someone who can ensure high performance standards, robust procurement processes and strong supplier assurance are consistently applied. This position is key to improving adherence to preferred supplier agreements, ensuring suppliers meet the required assurance standards, and that contractual terms are fully in place.
Responsibilities
* Identify efficiency, quality, innovation and service-improvement opportunities across all projects and sectors.
* Work closely with the Projects Team to ensure value for money in all project procurements.
* Support the selection of suitably skilled Tier 2 and Tier 3 supply-chain partners for project delivery.
* Manage competitive tender processes using the Scanmarket tool.
* Coordinate and maintain a supplier rotation board to support balanced workload allocation and maintain supplier performance.
* Lead successful mobilisation of new suppliers, ensuring all assurance, compliance and contractual flowdowns are met.
* Provide ongoing development, benchmarking and improvement of the Procurement function across business sectors.
* Act as the key link between Projects, Account Teams and Procurement to maintain aligned strategies and objectives.
Qualifications
* Ensure all supplier assurance requirements are met, including contractual governance.
* Extensive and proven procurement experience (typically 5+ years).
* Experience supporting capital project works, with strong technical understanding of construction methods, technology and standard forms of measurement.
* Ability to read, interpret and analyse project programmes; construction-industry experience is preferred.
* Degree-level education preferred.
* Professional certifications such as CIPS and/or MBA are highly desirable.
* BPSS Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
* Strong attention to detail and awareness of commercial QS/Legal processes.
* Strong business acumen with solid understanding of P2P models and sourcing approaches.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse stakeholder group.
