Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Project Manager to help us continue our Journey. This role will be remote but with regular travel across the UK, Germany and US.

The Role
You will be responsible for integrating procurement strategy within the newly established Project Management Office. Your role will include aligning purchasing activities with project objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services required for global and regional initiatives. You will also identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships, including negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with company standards and securing cost effective solutions.

* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
* Professional certification is desirable, CIPS, CPM, CPSM or equivalent.
* Previous experience within global supply chains and international sourcing within manufacturing
* Knowledge of project management principles and integration of procurement into project life cycles.
* Experience with CAPEX projects.
* Experience in raising RFQs.
* Experience in Bid Evaluations.
