Location: Wixams, Bedfordshire
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 per annum (progression to Dual Manager/Responsible Individual – £80,000 vehicle)
Hours: 40 per week
Holidays: 32 days (including bank holidays, rising to 35)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Join our client’s brand-new, nurturing children’s home in Wixams, Bedfordshire, a welcoming two-bed service for young people aged 11–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is the fourth home in our client’s expanding specialist network, offering strong organisational backing, professional development, and clear progression opportunities.
The Opportunity
* Lead a small, stable and supportive EBD home with a brand-new team
* Build and develop a positive staff culture with a dedicated Deputy Manager
* Receive hands-on support and guidance from senior leadership
* Opportunity to progress to Dual Manager/Responsible Individual, with a package of £80,000 and company vehicle

Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
* Proven experience of leading teams to deliver Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
* Passion for creating nurturing, child-centred environments where young people can thrive
