Motor Trade Account Executive
Location: Field Based – South West
Salary: £60,000, £5,000 Car Allowance, Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Self-Pay
Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Executive to manage and develop a portfolio of Motor Trade clients. This role offers a diverse blend of client relationship management, business development, and collaboration with a wider service team to deliver exceptional customer propositions and solutions.
You will also contribute to the success of strategic partnerships and support the continued evolution of market-leading Motor Trade insurance services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of mid to large Motor Trade clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their evolving insurance needs.
* Serve as the primary contact for your clients, providing expert guidance and delivering exceptional service.
* Collaborate closely with the Motor Trade service team and Development Executives to deliver tailored insurance propositions.
* Identify and contribute to new business opportunities, playing an active role in winning high-quality clients.
* Support the development and execution of key affinity partnerships aligned with the Motor Trade strategy.
* Ensure operational tasks and service delivery activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurer partners.
* Provide technical and operational guidance to the wider Motor Trade service team.
* Input into the ongoing development of operational processes and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance, with a strong focus on Motor Trade.
* Proven track record in managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience with Acturis (desirable but not essential).

Qualifications:
* Progress towards or completion of CII qualifications (preferred).
* Ongoing CPD and relevant technical training in commercial insurance products.
Other Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for client visits.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.
