Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and eager to make a real impact across diverse cultures? As the Lean Lead for Parts Fulfilment, Services Eurasia you will play a pivotal role in transforming our supply chain operations throughout 21 European countries, 5 countries in the Middle East & Africa, and 14 countries in Asia Pacific.
In this dynamic position, you will spearhead performance improvement projects, utilizing cutting-edge lean methodologies to elevate our central Parts Fulfilment team, local planning teams, and our repair centers. You will act as a change agent - empowering teams with lean tools, conducting regular maturity audits, and ensuring continuous progress. Your expertise will be recognized and supported by our dedicated Lean organization. This role offers significant international exposure, with regular travel providing the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with teams across multiple continents. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Parts Fulfilment Eurasia, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of Lean Services Eurasia.
Your Responsibilities
* Leads functional continuous process improvement by recommending enhancements and applying LEAN tools/technologies
* Develops project plans and schedules, including task assignments, resources, milestones, review points and reporting requirements
* Broadly impacts the organization
* Applies LEAN expertise to consult and advise on complex processes and applications worldwide
* Engages with senior leadership to identify and define business critical process improvements
* Monitors business analysis progress and status, identifying trends and resolving technical and process issues
* Advises management on functional progress, status, trends and issues
* Engages with Business Operations management to contribute to strategic planning and priority setting
* Remains current with industry, process and state-of-the-art technology
* Provides function-wide insight and leadership
* Regularly trains, coaches and mentors team members
* Use Value Stream Mapping to determine and record business processes and improvement areas
* Develop principal work standards
* Plan, execute and manage LEAN projects to completion
* Communicate LEAN philosophy, vision, and expectations to the organization
* Develop and sustain employee LEAN training and development on LEAN concepts
* Develop measurement systems supporting LEAN philosophy
Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 – 10 years of relevant experience as LEAN practitioner or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Excellent Problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand production processes and awareness about service operations
* Ability to understand and lead implementation in administration/planning environment
* Ability to understand and follow all quality standards (ISO & customer requirements)
* Work towards increasing efficiency and safety of the services system
* Ability to analyze complex services data and propose changes leading to higher efficiency and safety
* Must be a team player and understand motivating and leading a team without direct supervisory responsibility
* Self-motivated to implement goals with minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills including verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
