The Opportunity:
My client are a highly successful South West of England based company are currently looking for a Head of Sales to be accountable for delivering the sales objectives - both acquisition and retention - providing effective and motivational leadership of the sales function.
You will take responsibility for all their direct sales channels (field, desk and resellers) and segments (consumer and business) and look to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of each direct sales channel, ensuring productivity together with the adoption of best practices and new technologies where applicable.
Skills and Experience:
1. 10 years of working experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, preferably working in the position of a Senior Sales Manager.
2. A proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation, with exceptional leadership skills and confidence.
3. Experience evaluating product/market situations and analysing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches/reports.
4. The ideal candidate will already be working at a senior level and this would be a great stepping stone into a C-suite role for the right individual.
