Overview
Public and patient involvement manager role at Kidney Research UK (through TieTalent). Location: Peterborough office with flexibility for hybrid working. Contract: 12 Month fixed term contract - maternity cover. Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 depending on experience.
Closing date: Tuesday 30 September 2025. Initial phone interviews will be held w/c 6 October 2025. Final interviews will be held in person, at our Peterborough office w/c 13 October 2025. No agencies please.

Responsibilities
* Lead our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) team and shape the direction of PPI activity to support the charity’s aims.
* Identify, develop and deliver new opportunities for patient involvement beyond day‑to‑day operations.
* Engage with patients and the public to ensure their voice informs decisions on research investment, priorities, and related work across the charity.
* Collaborate with clinicians, scientists, and partners to embed patient perspective in programs and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI).
* Passionate about involvement of patients and the public in charitable activities.
* Ability to lead, influence, and drive PPI initiatives and opportunities.
* Relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, community involvement, or related fields is desirable.
