McMinns Pharmacy is an independent, forward-thinking community pharmacy located in the heart of Wishaw. We are currently seeking a motivated Pharmacy Student to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MPharm student who is passionate about patient care and wishes to gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a progressive and supportive pharmacy environment.
As part of our team, you will be fully involved in day-to-day branch operations, contributing to the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services while building professional relationships with patients, customers and local healthcare professionals. You will play an important role in upholding our reputation for accessible, high-quality community healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the dispensing process with accuracy and attention to detail
* Assisting in the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services where appropriate
* Providing excellent customer service and professional patient interaction
* Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
* Supporting stock management and branch workflow
* Acting as a professional ambassador for McMinns Pharmacy within the local community
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Is currently studying towards an MPharm degree
* Has experience in a customer-focused environment
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of confidentiality and professional standards
* Handles medicines accurately and responsibly
* Shows initiative, self-motivation and a willingness to learn
* Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Can prioritise workload effectively
* Works well under pressure and to deadlines

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
