Dutton Traffic Management Services are seeking a organised and proactive Traffic Management Operatives to join our new Durham Depot. Further career and development opportunities will be available for the right candidates. Applicants are required to hold a valid Lantra M1/2 qualification as minimum in order to be shortlisted for interview stage.
Core Hours: 07:00 - 17:00
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – On the Road based out of our Durham Depot
Pay: Minimum salary of £31,980 per annum plus £10 per day meal allowance (when working on the road for 10 hours), overtime, van with fuel card, and callout retainer.
Overtime: Overtime is capped at £18.45 per hour and is paid outside of hrs Mon-Fri. Night shifts are paid at a shift rate. Sat, Sun are all paid at overtime rate (minimum 8 hours).
Call out: We manage the call out on a rota basis, with the operative being paid a daily retainer. Each call will be paid at a minimum 4 hours at overtime rate.
Holidays: 21 days in addition to Bank Holidays
Responsibilities
* Complete safety focussed traffic management duties in line with Lantra Sector Scheme 12ABD requirements.
* Risk Assessments must be completed to safeguard yourself and the company
* Complete ancillary tasks required to run a successful traffic management depot.
* Site Photos captured and submitted for each task completed as per company operating procedures.
Requirements
* Lantra M1/2 Qualification as a minimum.
* Ability to interpret traffic management drawings.
* The role demands flexibility and adaptability in regard to working hours. Standby, days, nights, and weekend shifts will be required from time to time.
* Adapt at driving a 3.5t vehicle.
* Full Driver's License.
* Maximum 6 points on driver's license with no previous bans.
* Able to take ownership of the tasks assigned to them, with good working knowledge of 'Safety at street works and road works: a code of practice', 'Chapter 8' and 'ARTSM'.
* Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills.
