Join us and be part of a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a real difference.Key Responsibilities:Lead the engineering efforts for automotive or motorsport systems/components within an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy, or motorsport team.Manage, schedule, budget, and allocate resources for significant engineering tasks or projects.Act as a Senior Authorised Person/Person in Charge for up to 800V systems.Develop code for applications such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), charging systems, vehicle control, etc., at a senior level.Skills Required:Proficiency in high-level software packages such as Matlab/Simulink.Expertise in programming languages including model-based code generation, Python, C, C++, C#, etc.Proficient in producing and verifying engineering documents, models, calibrations, reports, etc.Expertise in software debugging using tools such as CANalyser, CANape, etc.Familiarity with the Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) process.Proficient in applying structured problem-solving approaches and analytical tools such as 8D and Ishikawa.Expertise in the application/selection of relevant engineering analytical techniques, manufacturing processes, materials specifications, and standard parts.Proficient in identifying applicable regulatory requirements and standards to ensure designs meet compliance.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.Self-confidence, customer focus, and adaptability are essential traits for success in this role.What We Offer:25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service to 30 days)On-site gym facilitiesEmployee Assistance and Wellbeing ProgrammePrivate Healthcare coverageCompany Pension SchemeDiscount Car SchemeDevelopment and Training opportunitiesRetail DiscountsLoyalty RewardsCycle to Work SchemeDeath in Service coverJoin our team and embark on an exciting journey where you can contribute to groundbreaking projects and develop your skills in a supportive and rewarding environment.Send cv's to robert.d@gts-search.com or call on 07723 563972
