Role
purpose:
1. To provide high-quality front-line customer service
2. To provide effective licensing administration and support services
Key accountabilities:
3. To support and assist in the provision of licensing and support
4. To work with computerised systems as required
5. To treat work records confidentially
To provide first point of contact for the receipt of enquires and applications and to provide advice on processes relating to licensing including funding, Licensing Act, Gambling Act, Massage and Special Treatments, Animal Welfare, Explosives, and other regulations within the responsibilities of the licensing team.
6. To process License applications, including renewals, variations, amendments, and the notification of Council decisions on matters relating to
7. To maintain licences and other records securely and
8. To attend meetings, including meetings with Council Members, licensees, and others, as directed
9. To be responsible for cash and other income, resources, equipment, and materials, as directed
Knowledge, skills & experience:
10. Ability to quickly learn licensing regulation and related administrative
11. licensing experience under LA03 and GA05 (Licensing Act and Gambling Act
12. Ability to meet targets and work
13. Ability to work
14. Ability to follow
15. Good customer relations and mediation skills
16. Ability to effectively use
17. Good communication skills
18. knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes (desirable)
19. Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent with passes in Mathematics and English language (A-C / 9-4) or relevant work
20. Licensing or equivalent administration
