The Role:

The primary purpose of this role is to take ownership of serving Weidmann customers supporting the process from pre through to post sales.

To provide a Proactive and professional service to all our customers and ensure orders, enquiries and deliveries are carried out efficiently and within set guidelines.

Person:

As this role relies on building strong Internal and external customer relationships the individual will be a proactive problem solver with a good attention to detail. The individual will be empathetic to deal with customer queries and concerns promptly.

The individual will need to be a strong team player whilst being self-motivated and conscientious.

Key Responsibilities:

* To comply with all health and safety guidelines
* Process customer orders in a timely manner
* Ensure accuracy of data in all IT systems
* Provide order acknowledgements / re-acknowledgments to customers within set time frames.
* Respond to customer enquiries efficiently to ensure customers are kept informed
* Coordinate with planning and other internal departments regarding the status of orders.
* Produce despatch notes as required
* Where necessary escalate issues as soon as they arise to minimise the impact on the customer and the business
* Organise transport for despatches in line with customer requirements
* Ensure compliance documentation is correct.
* Raise invoices and send to customers as required
* Continuously review the status of open orders to ensure transportation is booked to meet customer requirements and minimise inventory levels.
* Authorise Invoices for transport costs
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects as required
* Any other reasonable task requested by Management.
