Job Description:
Our client a multi academy trust is seeking a caretaker to join their team on an permanent basis covering 3 academies across Bodmin - Dartford

ASAP start
What we offer:
1. £14,765 - £16,295 per annum.
2. Monday - Friday - 2pm - 6pm - 52 weeks a year.
3. 20H per week.
4. Permanent role.
5. Company van provided.
The role:
6. Caretaking and maintenance of the school sites to the required standard, to include compliance checks, general repairs, low level grounds maintenance and portering.
7. Carpentry / General maintenance skill set desirable to assist with daily repairs and maintenance.
8. Key holder responsibilities including call out in emergencies and locking and unlocking routines.
9. Performance of caretaking and maintenance tasks as directed by your Line manager or the principal.
10. Supporting and assisting school staff with provision of required equipment, i.e. tables, chairs, flip charts etc.
Requirements:
11. Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
12. Must have an indate enhanced DBS - Child barring.
13. Some tools are provided but would be beneficial if you have your own.
14. Safety boots required.
15. Experience of maintenance.
16. Basic understanding of electrical work, carpentry and plumbing.
17. IT Literate - To be able to use teams and systems which reports defects.
