Project Manager – Facilities Management

The Opportunity
An established organisation operating within a highly regulated, operational environment is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Project Manager to deliver a defined programme of estates and FM project works over an 18‑month period.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, suited to an FM Project Manager who thrives in structured environments and enjoys managing works on live, operational sites where safety, compliance and stakeholder management are critical.
The Role
Working as part of a fast‑paced Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a range of planned and ad‑hoc FM project activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing FM project budgets and ensuring effective cost control
* Planning and coordinating project works through the full lifecycle
* Leading procurement activities, including preparing tender documentation and evaluating contractor submissions
* Managing subcontractors and monitoring site works delivery
* Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and other statutory requirements
* Producing reports, trackers and updates for internal and client stakeholders
* Engaging with stakeholders early to define scope and refine project requirements
* Attending project and client meetings as required
About You
You will be an experienced FM or Estates Project Manager, comfortable delivering projects in operational or regulated environments.
You will bring:
* Proven experience delivering FM / estates project works
* Strong knowledge of CDM 2015
* Experience managing contractors and site-based works
* Budget management and cost control capability
* Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
* The resilience and flexibility to operate in a fast‑moving, process‑driven setting
Experience working within healthcare, justice, education, local authority or similarly regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
