Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Job description
We're recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day logistics and distribution function across two operational sites. You'll take a customer-focused approach to managing the end-to-end process for incoming and outgoing goods from receipt through to shipment and delivery.
This is a hands-on role within a busy, growing team. You'll liaise with suppliers, customers and couriers to ensure shipments are booked efficiently, documentation is accurate, and deliveries are tracked and communicated effectively. You'll also support internal stock movements between sites, keep records up to date, and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing incoming orders from distributors, customers, sales teams or internal departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Arranging collections and transport for internal stock movements between sites.
* Booking and coordinating shipments (inbound/outbound), including selecting carriers, scheduling collections, and preparing shipping documentation.
* Monitoring shipments in transit, providing updates, and proactively resolving delays or delivery issues.
* Maintaining accurate records including packing lists, shipping labels and any relevant compliance documentation.
* Supporting customers and internal teams with order status, transport queries and general logistics information.
* Highlighting shortages, issues or delays and communicating clearly with customers/internal stakeholders.
* Assisting with dispatch paperwork and warehouse coordination as required.
* Keeping records of business activity accurate and up to date.
* Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Skills
* Proven experience within logistics/operations/distribution coordination (or strong admin experience in a logistics environment).
* Confident working independently, prioritising workload, and managing your own "customer base"/stakeholders.
* Strong customer service approach with professional, clear communication.
* Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
