The Authority is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to help run the Kerbcraft child pedestrian training scheme which teaches practical pedestrian skills to 5 to 7 year olds. You will play an active role in training the children. You will also assist with the recruitment and training of volunteers who will teach the children taking part in the scheme. With a good understanding of current transport and road safety issues, you will have experience of working with children. Having a good standard of literacy, you will be able to express yourself clearly, both verbally and in writing. Your flexibility and effective organisational skills will help you to develop and adapt to meet new ideas and challenges. A full driving licence and access to your own transport for use during working hours is essential.
