Job Description:
This role is based at Chapel Street, High Valleyfield, Fife KY12 8SJ. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual with primary care experience, ideally as a practice manager, to join an expanding medical group operating across Fife. The successful candidate will manage three practices in Valleyfield, Kinghorn, and Burntisland, with a total patient list size of approximately 9,000.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing staff across multiple sites
2. Implementing and standardizing protocols across all sites
3. Conducting 1:1 meetings and staff appraisals
4. Collaborating with health boards to produce reports and handle queries
5. Traveling between different GP sites
6. Recruiting staff, conducting interviews, and managing contractual discussions
7. Handling HR queries from staff
8. Reviewing rotas and arranging clinical cover for short-staffed days
9. Managing a team of practice managers at various sites
