We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Lewisham region. This is a full-time position suitable for an experienced SEND practitioner or a motivated teacher looking to specialise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The successful candidate will work with pupils presenting a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised teaching that supports both academic progress and social development.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with EHCP targets
* Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
* Implement individualised learning strategies and behaviour support plans
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching pupils with SEND
* Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
