Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote) Job Description
We're seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for conducting surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
* Develop technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings following approved procedures, including specifications
* Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
* Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
* Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
* Perform MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and are looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing fresh perspectives to Traffic Signal Design solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
* Microsoft Office skills
* Understanding of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
* Knowledge of MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
* Familiarity with LinSig 3
* Full UK Driving Licence
