Responsibilities
* I am looking for a personal assistant to enable me to engage in social activities in the local community.
* I enjoy arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, gardening, going to the theatre and going out for coffee.
* I am a bit unsteady walking and can only walk short distance.
* I will require your assistance to walk with me when going out.
* I am flexible but prefer to be supported twice a week, ideally Mondays and Wednesdays after lunch.
* A driver is required for this role; you must have appropriate business insurance to use your car in connection with work.
* I have a small dog who will bark at strangers but is very friendly once acquainted.
Qualifications
* Driver with appropriate business insurance.
* Enhanced DBS check (no cost).
* Two satisfactory references.
* Eligible to work in the UK and have a valid National Insurance number.
* Trial period of 1 month and probationary period of up to 6 months.

* Wages paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid NI number has been provided.

You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
