We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director, Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team in downtown Dallas, Texas. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing comprehensive benefits strategies that enhance employee engagement and align with organizational objectives. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee benefits administration, vendor relationships, and compliance, ensuring optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement robust total rewards strategies, including competitive compensation, benefits, and employee recognition programs.
• Lead the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment processes and wellness initiatives.
• Perform workforce analysis to identify talent needs, address skill gaps, and support succession planning efforts.
• Manage benefits-related projects, including vendor relationships, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Analyze and utilize data to optimize benefits program performance and control costs effectively.
• Supervise and mentor benefits staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Communicate benefits programs and updates clearly to employees and organizational stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and oversee benefits budgets to ensure financial accountability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the functionality and effectiveness of HRIS systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of HR management experience, with a strong focus on benefits and workforce planning.
• In-depth knowledge of 457 and 403(b) plans.
• Preferred certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP.
• Proficiency in Workday Benefits Module or similar HRIS systems; intermediate Excel skills required.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience in benefits design and administration, including data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) or CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) certification is preferred.
