What you’ll be doing
as a Senior ICA Engineer
1. Support and develop Asset standards and Guideline documents.
2. Support the development of functional safety SIL systems for projects through the IEC 61511 lifecycle.
3. Support and develop the technical requirements for early-stage project briefs.
4. Review or approve ICA designs as appropriate.
5. Deliver ICA element solutions to fit within the overall ICA vision.
6. Provide resolutions to ICA requests in line with the ICA asset standard/waivers.
Base location: Hybrid - Clearwater Court - RG1 8DB
Working pattern or hours: 36 hours, Mon- Fri
What you should bring to the role
The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:
7. Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems, data/telemetry networks from an implementation perspective, either through design and/or commissioning.
8. Competence in ICA engineering to define a problem, identify the constraints and provide possible solutions in line with asset standards.
9. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
10. Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our Engineering regulatory requirements.
11. Project experience preferred.
12. CAD experience preferred.
13. Degree level or equivalent, in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have:
14. Preference for Chartered Engineer status or heading towards this in their professional development
