Operating across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, our client delivers full mechanical and electrical services across a wide range of sectors including industrial, logistics, food, pharmaceutical, data centres, healthcare,mercial, hospitality, residential, public, and energy.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Site Manager based in Birmingham, you will report to the Project/Contracts Manager and take responsibility for overseeing the installation,missioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services. You’ll coordinate daily with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth site operations andpliance with safety and quality standards.
Key duties include:
1. Managing site labour and subcontractors
2. Ensuring EHSQpliance and documentation
3. Ordering materials and managing plant/tool hire
4. Liaising with main contractors and client site teams
5. Maintaining progress reports and project documentation
6. Supporting project scheduling and quality monitoring
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
7. A relevant trade qualification or further education in mechanical building services
8. At least 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager role
9. Strong people management and project coordination skills
10. Good IT proficiency andmunication abilities
11. Flexibility to travel if required
