We are recruiting for an Information and Records Manager to join the Knowledge and Information Management Team in the Corporate Governance deputy directorate on a permanent basis.
This exciting role will be responsible for managing the information structure within NHS Resolution (NHSR) by providing advice, support and training as necessary. The post holder will be managing the different information management frameworks and procedures, and updating them as needed. This is so that staff can retain and locate the information they need, and for NHSR to meet our obligations as a public organisation.
Main duties of the job
* Leading on managing and consolidating the information stores mostly within SharePoint/O365, enabling staff to find the information they need and ensuring NHSR meets in obligations as a public organisation.
* Enabling good information management within NHSR, showing best practice, managing the information champions network across the organisation, producing information management reports and keeping abreast of legislative changes which may impact the organisation, amending information management practices.
* Managing the information management processes, procedures, ensuring compliance and accountability and empowering users by facilitating a self‑service culture.
* Deriving maximum value for the business from knowledge and information management, collaborating and encouraging information sharing and communicating effectively across NHSR and with other stakeholders.
* Line management of a KIM Officer, ensuring that all elements of the records retention and information management function are followed.

* Ability to lead and manage a team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good analytical and decision‑making skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Sound understanding and experience of Knowledge and Information Management principles and practices, and an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint.
