If you are studying towards or holding a professional accounting qualification (AAT / CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or have recently graduated in Finance or a related subject and have a passion for finance, maybe this is the job for you.
As well as a salary of £30k, the position of Finance Assistant includes:
Hours: 40 hrs per week 8.30am-5pm Mon–Fri
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (P/R)
Pension: The Company will make contributions of 7% of earnings into the scheme. In addition, for every 1% the employee contributes the Company will contribute a further 0.5% up to a maximum Company contribution of 10%.

Based in Doncaster, the Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our accounts function. This includes:
Assisting with the preparation of month-end management accounts.
Producing financial accounts up to trial balance stage, including accruals and prepayments.
Conducting month-end balance sheet reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
Supporting weekly cash flow forecasting.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and year-end audit documentation.
Analysing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
To apply for the Finance Assistant position, you will need:
Previous experience working within an accountancy or finance function.
Good knowledge of current accounting standards and experience in producing management accounts.
Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
GCSEs (A*–C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
