Junior Finance Manager | Kirkby Lonsdale | Up to £45k | Purpose-Driven Luxury Business Are you a meticulous and proactive finance professional looking to join a purpose-led, design-driven company? This is a rare opportunity to become the financial backbone of a small but ambitious creative studio redefining luxury through sustainability and craftsmanship. The Role As the studio continues to grow, we're looking for a Junior Finance Manager to take full ownership of the financial function. Reporting to the COO (who has been covering finance to date), you'll be responsible for everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to preparing monthly management accounts. The team is small, creative, and passionate - so part of your role will involve gently guiding budget awareness across the board. The pace can vary-from full-on busy to quieter reflective periods-so we're looking for someone who is adaptable, steady, and comfortable working independently. This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities · Manage daily bookkeeping including transaction categorisation and bank reconciliations· Handle all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions· Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) · Maintain accurate cashflow forecasting and reporting· Process payroll· Prepare VAT returns in collaboration with external accountants· Support year-end accounts and tax return processes· Contribute to quarterly performance reviews and financial process improvements· Work in GBP and EUR to reflect multi-currency project activity What We Need to See (Essential) · Minimum 5 years' experience in a bookkeeping or finance role· Strong hands-on experience with management accounts and cashflow reporting· Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (or similar)· Confident working with multi-currency accounts (GBP and EUR)· High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both structured and creative team members· Integrity, discretion, and a "safe pair of hands" approach Package £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Living Wage and Living Pension employer Purpose-driven culture Career development support Office-based, full-time (08:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:30-16:00 Fri) Interested?
