Your new role
My client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Glasgow. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of themercial Team and will be responsible for carrying out the administration of themercial and financial aspects of the Capital Delivery Framework. The role will involve working closely with the delivery team on both clean and waste infrastructure projects.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar level within a civil engineering or utilities contractor.
2. Familiarity with assessing and paying subcontract applications, preparing applications for payment for assigned work packages.
3. Proactive mentoring and management of junior members of themercial team.
4. Working knowledge of the NEC3 suite of contracts.
5. Experience using CEMAR.
6. Experience in the Utilities/Rail/Highways sector.
7. Experience dealing with high volume and low value work.
8. Experience working in an Alliance environment with multiple partners including the client.
