Overview
NRL have exciting opportunities for Welsh speaking Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Design Engineers (all levels) with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi-discipline engineering and design consultancy, currently based in Warrington and Cumbria. In January 2024 they will be opening up a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel to join their team.
As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors primarily nuclear. Their EC&I design activities include, but are not limited to:
* Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
* Electrical Distribution Systems
* E&I Building Services
* Programmable Electronic Systems (PES)
* Process Control Systems
* Fire Alarm Design & Integration
* Normal & Emergency Lighting
* Cameras and security
* Alarm systems
* Asset Care
* Functional Safety
Responsibilities
The role focuses on electrical, control and instrumentation design activities for projects in highly regulated environments, primarily nuclear. Responsibilities include contributing to design work in line with project requirements and applicable standards, providing technical oversight, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Will Need
* Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
* HNC minimum.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in both Welsh and English
* Ability to provide technical oversight
* Design in accordance with the IET 18th edition (BS7671)
* Conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. Auto CAD, CAESAR, PDMS etc.)
* Fluent in MS Office suite of programmes (Word, Excel etc.)
* All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS as a minimum.
