What you’ll do We are looking for a person who is driven, dedicated and passionate to join our fast-growing team and be part of the team making BOXT an international household name. As Renewables Technical Support, you will play a fundamental part in supporting our growth and ambition by support the Renewables Team with Heat Pump Design and Technical support for both Customers and Fit Out Installation Contractors. You will be required to: Proactively call customers to carry out pre-survey checks on all new heat pump sales. Arrange Heat Pump Surveys, liaising with our sub-contractor installation engineers to ensure surveys are carried out in a timely manner, and to a good standard. Create bespoke system designs to send to customers for approval, adhering to all relevant legislation, manufacturing regulations and company policies and procedures. Undertake the planning of installations as and when required, and liaising with Installation Engineers Carry out Technical Post installation audits on subcontracted Heat Pump Installations Prepare and submit customer handover packs in line with MCS requirements. Provide post installation technical support to both installers and customers Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the heating sector. Experience of working in a customer service driven role ACS qualifications (CPA1, CCN1, CENWAT) NVQ Heat Pumps Level 3 Clear DBS check IOSH Health and Safety (Desirable) Full UK Driving licence Competencies Appropriate Health and Safety skills Professional and effective communication – both written and verbal First class customer service skills Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively. IT literacy Personal attributes Team player Able to work on their own initiative and independently. Open to developing skills and knowledge.
