Summary:
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, ensuring the highest professional standards in dispensing. Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, completing a rotational training plan, and contributing to cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritizing patients based on clinical and pharmaceutical needs.
Validating patient medication histories and advising on medication changes.
Dispensing prescriptions and communicating medication information to patients and healthcare staff.
Ensuring compliance with medicines law, internal audit, and regulatory requirements.
Participating in clinical trials, risk management, and quality improvement projects.
Supervising pharmacy staff and contributing to their professional development.
Handling finances, including cash, prescription charges, and order signing.
Promoting health and safety compliance and risk management.
Providing teaching sessions to healthcare professionals and pre-registration pharmacists.
