A rewarding role as a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant is open for aspiring SEN specialists, educational psychologists, therapeutic counsellors, or occupational therapists.
Do you want to support children with challenging behaviour? Can you build rapport that helps them succeed? As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you could be the positive role model they need.
This role is suitable for recent psychology or criminology graduates interested in understanding factors causing challenging behaviour. You will collaborate with trained professionals like SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists, gaining valuable experience.
You will work with young learners displaying nonconforming behaviour requiring specialist intervention. Your responsibilities include implementing strategies, providing emotional support, and promoting positive habits to enhance their well-being and social skills.
Position details:
* Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant
* ASAP Start
* Location: Swindon
* Full-Time 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Salary: £80 - £95 per day
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent behavioural management skills, is committed to improving challenging young people's lives, and can adapt strategies to individual needs. Experience working with difficult behaviour, mental health issues, or SEN children is desirable.
