Role Description
As a self-employed Field Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to earn competitive uncapped commissions by building relationships with small businesses and demonstrating how SumUp products can add value. You will act as a solutions consultant, offering our comprehensive product toolkit to meet client needs.
We are expanding our Field Sales team and seek individuals passionate about sales, driven to succeed, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Our mission is to help and empower more business owners, and your role is vital in achieving this goal.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and engage high-potential clients within your territory, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses.
2. Conduct face-to-face meetings and deliver persuasive product demonstrations of SumUp's Card reader and POS solutions.
3. Communicate our products' value propositions effectively, addressing client needs and objections confidently.
4. Generate leads proactively and build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and targeted activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Proven success in a Field Sales role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or other point-of-sale solutions.
2. Ability to consistently exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding results.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster long-term relationships.
4. In-depth knowledge of the local market and a genuine passion for supporting SMBs.
5. Experience with outbound lead generation, cold calling, and pipeline building.
