Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Eastbourne
Salary: Up to £40k
Hours: Monday - Friday - 9am-5:30pm
Work Type: Permanent HRGO Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an educational facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff management, student welfare, administration, finance, catering, compliance, health and safety, maintenance, and overall facility management.
You will be responsible for management of all non-teaching staff to include, administration, operations, accommodation, student services, housekeeping, catering, and building maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure smooth operations of the centre
Oversee student welfare and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting and maintain the feedback programme
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Implement and maintain health and safety protocols
Manage facility maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
Develop exciting and engaging new products to expand a portfolio to new and existing customers.Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role in the EFL industry or in managing large teams and budgets in a multi-faceted leisure, educational, sports, or hospitality business
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of industry best practices and current trends
