The Role
* Maintain the requirements of ISO and 14001 and other third-party accreditations.
* Report all matters to Senior Management relating to all current Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality arrangements for E Quinn Civils Limited
* On-going review and trend analysis of all internal reports relating to Health and Safety matters
* Preparation and review of Method Statements, Risk Assessments/COSHH assessments
* Monitor and arrange for periodic testing of plant/equipment and accessories as per PUWER/LOLER requirements.
* Working knowledge and appreciation of civil engineering processes
* Conducting internal Safety Management System audits and on-site safety inspections
* Preparation and delivery of Toolbox talks, briefings and safety presentations
* Accident, incident and near miss reporting
* Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and large scale project works
* Confidence in positive engagement with staff across all levels of the company, supply chain partners and key stakeholders/Client
* Promoting an effective Health & Safety management system and a culture of continuous improvement
* Experience in the requirements of BREEAM, Constructionline and Considerate Constructors schemes
Education
* Candidates must have: NEBOSH Certificate (Preferably Construction Certificate) and 4 years Health and Safety experience
