About the Role
TKMS ATLAS UK is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Operations team and support the improvement of supplier quality across the supply chain.
This role focuses on ensuring suppliers meet the required quality standards from **initial approval through to ongoing monitoring and improvement**. You'll work closely with procurement, engineering, and suppliers to help resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.
The position reports to the Quality Manager- Supply Chain and offers the opportunity to work within a technically advanced maritime defence environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct supplier audits, including initial approval and ongoing surveillance
2. Manage supplier non-conformances and root cause investigations
3. Support supplier development and improvement activities
4. Work with Procurement on supplier performance and improvement strategies
5. Review and support First Article and product audits (FCA/PCA)
6. Assist with new product introduction (NPI) into the supply chain
