Primary SEND Tutors Required - Immediate Start | Berkshire (Wokingham & Surrounding Areas)
Quantum Scholars is currently looking for experienced Primary SEND tutors to deliver 1:1 tuition in home and off-site settings for pupils accessing alternative provision across Wokingham and the wider Berkshire area.
This role involves supporting primary-aged pupils who are not currently in mainstream education. Many of the children we work with have additional needs, including SEND, autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical conditions.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with individual learners, providing tailored sessions that build confidence, strengthen core skills, and support their transition back into education. Tuition typically takes place in the pupil's home or in a suitable community setting, with tutors responsible for planning and adapting lessons to meet each learner's needs.
Role Overview:
Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils outside of mainstream education

Sessions take place during school hours, so daytime availability is essential

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
Experience supporting primary pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, SEMH, ADHD)
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Experience teaching core primary subjects such as English and Maths
