This is a key leadership role within a forward-thinking organisation, focused on maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive working environment. We’re looking for a confident professional with a passion for continuous improvement and a strong working knowledge of industrial HS&E practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. Investigate incidents thoroughly, undertaking root cause analysis and recommending preventative measures. Deliver effective training programmes on health, safety, and first aid, ensuring all teams are competent and informed. Maintain accurate records of HS&E activities including audits, reports, and training. Monitor environmental compliance and drive sustainability initiatives across the business. Act as the key liaison with external regulatory bodies and support internal teams with SHE best practice. About You: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential. Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within industrial or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of SHE tools, improvement methodologies, and process analysis. Confident communicator with excellent report writing and organisational skills. First Aid qualification (or willingness to achieve). Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
