Menswear Designer / Developer Overview
We are working with a market leading fashion company, who are looking for a Designer / Developer to join their team
The Menswear Designer/Developer will work closely with the Account Manager to deliver high-quality seasonal ranges and third-party brand development projects.
Menswear Designer/Developer Key Responsibilities;
1. Collaborate with customers to capture seasonal briefs and manage third-party brand development projects.
2. Attend meetings with clients alongside the account manager to discuss brand requirements for upcoming seasons.
3. Request, review, and verify customer tech packs, creating new tech packs where necessary.
4. Produce range planners and prepare development packs for suppliers.
5. Receive and interpret design briefs from third-party customers.
6. Develop CADs and tech packs in line with customer specifications.
7. Brief suppliers and provide all necessary information for sample development and bulk production packs.
8. Oversee the sample process, maintaining communication with suppliers throughout.
9. Review incoming samples with the garment tech team and account manager, presenting feedback to customers and suppliers.
10. Work closely with the account manager to ensure the critical path and project timelines are maintained.

This is a varied role that involves customer liaison, design development, supplier communication, and managing the product development process from brief through to production.
