Opportunity:
A leading privately-owned infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major multi-million-pound rail & civils project in Crewe and surrounding areas

The Role:
* Commercial management of a major rail & civils scheme
* Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
* Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
* Contract administration under NEC contracts
* Managing variations, change and commercial risk
* Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
* Working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance
What were looking for:
* Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, rail or civils
* Strong NEC contract knowledge
* Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
* Ability to manage projects independently
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression
Rail experience would be highly advantageous; however, candidates from a wider civils, infrastructure, highways, utilities or heavy construction background are also encouraged to apply.
