Long Term Futures is looking for a qualified Early Years Educator to join a vibrant nursery team in New Malden. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to support the development and well-being of young children during their most formative years. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment while ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are met at all times.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Act as a key person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and maintaining accurate developmental records.
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children in the setting.
Provide paediatric first aid support when necessary to ensure the safety of all pupils.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers through regular communication regarding their child's daily routine and milestones.
Essential Candidate Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is essential.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
