Little Herons – About Us We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced individual with an NVQ Level 2 in Early Years to work at Little Herons Nursery based at West Monkton Primary School.
What we are looking for:
* Ability to deliver high‑quality childcare in a safe and caring environment for children as young as 2 years of age.
* Monitor key children’s development.
* Ensure effective communication with parents, other professionals and outside agencies.
* Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the children and the setting.
* Support the ethos, vision and Christian distinctiveness of the school.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Early Years.
* Knowledge of OFSTED Standards and Inspections.
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children.
* Demonstrate drive towards absolute excellence.

Salary & Hours:
* Salary: Grade 14, point 4.
* Actual Gross Salary: £17,486.
* Hours: 30.00 hours per week.
Contract Details:
* Term time only, plus INSETS.
* Contract: Permanent.
