Futures are working with a highly regarded manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join the executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring high standards of financial control, reporting and compliance Provide strategic financial guidance to the Board, supporting business planning, investment decisions and long-term growth strategy Own budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management across a manufacturing environment with complex cost structures Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, with clear commercial insight for non-finance stakeholders Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes and regulatory compliance Partner closely with operations to drive margin improvement, cost control and capital efficiency Support capital expenditure planning, funding requirements and return-on-investment analysis Play a key role in systems improvement, process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors and advisors Skills and Qualifications Significant senior finance leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments Strong technical finance background (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Demonstrable experience operating at Board or Executive level A commercially minded approach, with the ability to influence operational and strategic decisions Experience managing complex cost bases, inventory, capex and working capital A leadership style that balances challenge with collaboration Click apply now for more information
