Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic and growing organisation based in Edinburgh to recruit a motivated Credit Controller.

The Role
As Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for managing your own customer ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing overdue accounts, placing accounts on/off stop, and setting up payment plans
2. Issuing debt-chasing correspondence and maintaining accurate records of incoming payments
3. Performing credit checks and setting up new customer accounts Liaising with Account Managers to resolve queries and chase payments
4. Monitoring unallocated payments and arranging internal transfers
5. Producing weekly and monthly debtor reports for management
6. Supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager with meetings and process improvements
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
7. Minimum 2 years' experience in credit control or a similar finance role
8. Strong numeracy and attention to detail
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Dynamics is a plus
11. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
12. A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
