AWS Architect – 1-Month Rolling Contract
Location: Fully Remote
An exciting opportunity for an experienced AWS Architect to work with a leading consultancy on a new piece of work for a pharmaceutical client.
Objectives:
* Conduct a detailed audit of the client’s existing AWS infrastructure.
* Design and implement an equivalent architecture in a new AWS environment.
* Ensure functional, security, and performance parity between environments.
* Provide clear, well-structured documentation for deployment and ongoing management.
* Collaborate with internal and client-side stakeholders.
* Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect (5+ years preferred).
* Deep expertise in AWS services: VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, Route53, CloudFormation, etc.
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
* Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud governance.
* Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
* Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies.
* Experience in replicating or migrating complex multi-account AWS environments.
* AWS certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
* Experience working with clients in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
