Location: Wiltshire. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 31st July 2026.

£27,810 per year.

About the role
Join our Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, and Boater (GRTB) Service team to help tackle health inequalities and improve access to essential services for Travelling Communities. The role focuses on increasing awareness and uptake of health interventions, with emphasis on severe mental health, cancer screening, and early intervention. In this leadership role, you will manage one team member and a group of volunteers, collaborating with internal colleagues and external partners to deliver a joined-up, person-centred service that meets the needs of clients.

Responsibilities
* Manage referrals: Oversee and track referrals to the service, ensuring clients receive timely, appropriate and person-centred support.
* Build strong relationships: Engage with healthcare providers to foster partnerships and help break down barriers to working effectively with Travelling communities.
* Deliver cultural awareness training: Provide tailored training sessions to healthcare professionals, enhancing their understanding and confidence in delivering inclusive care.
* Coordinate collaborative strategies: Work with providers to develop joined-up, culturally appropriate engagement approaches that promote updates of relevant health services.
Note: The post holder may be required to undertake other duties broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements
* A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
* A good insight into health care systems in the UK
* Experience / understanding of working with vulnerable adults and/or socially excluded people
