What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate audio-visual professional with a preferred background in audio who is keen to operate and coordinate teams to deliver technical solutions across various types of events, such as conferences, live streams, podcasts, etc.
You’ll work directly with the rest of the AV team, and our Production team, to provide best-in-class event production solutions for our clients.
You’ll channel your expertise to collaboratively manage and produce in-person, hybrid, and virtual events to ensure we deliver a streamlined experience. As one of our AV Technicians, you'll be at the heart of a fast-growing events team and wider London Filmed team with plenty of opportunities for professional growth.
The role
The role entails working with an internal team of Event Producers, Project Managers, Designers, and Video Producers as well as freelance production crew in the UK, US, and Europe to deliver audio, video and live-streaming solutions for our clients.
Delivery
* Operate and maintain professional video, lighting and audio equipment
* Manage physical inventory
* Transport and setup of audio, video, and lighting equipment as required
* Some knowledge of vMix and other digital live-streaming applications
* Provide solutions for any complex technical or personnel challenges at events
* Work with an internal team of Event Producers, Project Managers, Designers, and Video Producers, and coordinate freelance production crew
* Coordinate crew and equipment as needed
* Ability to spot points of failure and have suitable contingencies in place
* Assist staff with pulling, staging, and striking audio/visual equipment for events
* Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
* Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
* Location and on-site management
* Assess technical and on-site health and safety risks, be alert for live issues on event days and be primed to react accordingly

* Follow-up and feedback on internal processes and workflows
* Keep up to date with developments in the industry and share internally
Clients
* Provide the best in class customer service on-site and remotely
* Build strong relationships with our clients and understand their needs and future event schedules, resulting in quality delivery and recurring business
Mandatory experience requirements
* 2-4+ years of AV production or broadcast industry experience
* Proficient in audio equipment; Allen & Heath, Yamaha, Sennheiser, etc.
* Ability to set up and ring out a PA
* Knowledge/understanding of wireless microphone systems
* Proficient in video equipment; Roland, Blackmagic Design, etc.
* Knowledge of different video standards
* Technical knowledge of common video equipment and common workflows
Ideal experience requirements
* Knowledge and experience operating a variety of large and small-scale audio events
* Experience in streaming, vMix, RTMP, SRT, NDI, etc.
* Video cameras and film lighting knowledge
* Proficient in lighting equipment; uplighters, moving head, and stationary lights
The offer:
* £30,000 salary per annum (depending on experience)
* Bonus scheme: up to 10% of salary depending on company and individual performance
